Eternal Labyrinth - door to golden key won't open

Is this a known issue?
I've accessed the Eternal Labyrinth and in the Basilica Annex I made it through the Sentinel traps and tripped the lever, but the door to the Golden Key won't open. I cannot progress without that key. Last bumped on Nov 7, 2020, 6:22:17 PM

Hours later I reloaded the game and it worked.
