New Player Needs help with Deadeye build

This is my first character and I'm following this build guide...

http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2756995

I'm just starting out with maps and can cruise through them pretty easily until I get to the boss then I get wrecked. I don't seem to have the dps output to put a dent in them and I'm so squishy I die quickly.

Should I grind until a higher level and progress through my passive tree more?

Should I go ahead and invest in a 6L bow or chest?

Any advice is appreciated! :)

the main problem is that all of your gear is vendor trash.. you have some uniques good for leveling only and your rare items are bad even for leveling

at level 71 you should have at lest 3500 Life, aiming for minimum 5k at level 90. All your resists except chaos have to be capped.. otherwise you have no chance to survive in maps.

your weapon is crap. you need one with high phys damage

you miss many Life passives on tree

buy cheap entry level gear.. phys damage bow, rares with high life roll and resists. boots with 30% movement speed.. instant life flasks.. utility flaks with anti-bleed and anti-freeze.. do the merciless lab etc etc

Im sorry, but there is everything wrong with your char..

I appreciate the feedback and expected to hear nothing less, lol. It's true what they say that this game takes some time to get right and a lot of people quit due to its complexity.
I also want to add that bow based deadeye builds are the most expensive to make work for endgame. Their clear is usually awesome but until you can go really crazy with barrage DPS your single target will suck. Combine that with deadeyes inherent squishyness and you have a build that's better off just skipping bosses. Killing them doesn't provide much in terms of drops/xp anyway so there isn't much harm to it.
There are only so few builds in PoE that plays themselves out naturally, for example minion builds. As for the rest, this one included, you really have to follow as close as possible to the build guide (I've peeked into it. There isn't too much wrong with it.) or else you gonna have a really hard time... bow builds especially. One single missing important piece of gear can cause you up to 50% loss of DPS, and then another missing piece of the puzzle equals to another 50% less on top of that. You can imagine how the scale works in multiplications instead of additions. However, they can be very rewarding if you could get everything right. In your case here, you must first know that impale-based builds for 99% of the time should keep damage sources physical as much as possible. That quiver should be replaced.
