Yeah, but I do not think it's no longer in WC3. It did become its own game after a while of being on WC3. If it is still on WC3 then all right, but if not then just search up DotA allstars.

DotA Allstars is a Warcraft 3 custom map. There is no DotA outside of Warcraft 3 battle.net, except of course for DotA 2.

To be honest, I wasn't really interested in moba games before, but after trying out DotA 2 for a few matches, I got to like them. However, I still suck at it.

I downloaded LoL today, since someone told me that it's more newbie friendly, but any tips you guys might have for me, they're welcome.

A good tip is don't play League of Legends if you want to be good at Dota.

I tried Dota 2, though I wasn't a Dota player. I play a ton of LoL, I honestly couldn't get into it I just don't like the way the game feels.

LoL just feels many times more smooth and polished.

I've played dota, dota2, lol and hon, and to me theres really no question hon is better than them all in terms of gameplay and overall fun

This is what I mean.

League of Legends is a very amazing game, two years ago.

The community of the game now is just so poor that I can't find myself wanting to play more than a single game a day (mostly for first win). It got so bad, I deleted the normal client, and downloaded the PBE client. I can play any champion I want, with the right runes and skins, all for free.
