cann we add a specific item we need on the default loot filter ?

so, i'm trying to get white stealth boots. can't find the loot filter file in game folder.

is there a way to make them pop with the default loot filter ?

Try filterblade. The web interface allows all kinds of customizations and tells you where to find the folder you need.

I don't know anything about editing the default filter. Disregard the cranky old man with his "witty" commentary.

QFT. Filterblade you can customize every item...then download it into the right folder and select it the options screen. Awesome prog.

Having played this game for years before the existence of a loot filter, I can say whole heartedly, that loot filters SAVED this game for me.

I remember the days of whole screens full of clutter, and the inability to timely see what was worth picking up. Hundreds of items on the screen, too much text to read, all looking exactly the same.

Loot filters for PoE are the exact opposite of degrading the experience.

I've always preferred this tool to Filterblade:

Let's you create and test your own filter or modify one of the presets or you can copy paste any other filter you might have and work with it.

That said, if you have any .filter, you can just add the lines Ozxell posted to the very beginning of it.

Unfortunately, the default filter does not seem to be available as a separate file, so you'll have to use a different one to and add those lines.
