I'm the guy from cyclone marauder build. It is great, can't die up until now. Made level 24 pretty fast so got the cyclone skill. Thought you should know for future reference that more dexterity is required than the build has at level 24. I can use cyclone at i think level ~32 now. I don't know if that was your intention haha, might be just that I misunderstood.

Regards to cyclone when i made that build it was assuming you where getting cyclone from the quest in act 3 (not that you would have a spare one in the stash :<) at which point you would be around level 30 and would have more dex for the skill. There is a +30 dex node you can pick up on the way to the duelist tree. I also advice that you use either an onyx or a jade amulet early on. I hope this helps if not come back to the stream tomorrow and i can help you some more there also if you could relink me the build i made for you i will double check the dex requirement, sorry that i wasn't clear enough about low level dex requirements.

Also maybe i didn't stress this point enough when making your build, i would not start using cyclone until you have the blood magic passive as the mana cost can be an issue, so i would stick with either lightning strike or ground slam for a tiny bit longer sorry.

I can just continue light(n)ing those baddies up till i get some more dex i guess. Find it really odd that many 2h axes require so much dex btw. What would be the reasoning for this? And i'll be sure to check in tomorrow. It was nice today.

I was once a believer, this game had a ton of potential, but 5 weeks in and I'm D U N.

I thought with the weeklyu patches this game was going to get fine tuned in no time. Theres still far too many holes in it. I think the Dsync finally did me in. The last week or 2 has been too much, and on top of that I have been having heating issues with my PC, and have played endless bigger games with no such problems. I don't know, I wouldn't complain at a "FREE GAME" except well, it wasn't. I know my choice, but I wasn't born yesterday, the slot upgrades were needed.

Still not dead, and they could one day make this a legitimate game again, but I think that's far away, and I don't see many of the things I object against ever being fixed.

It's all in what makes you happpy though. I know some people love it, just not this gamer.

I'm "still looking" for a game to get my attention like WOW did in the early years. SO frusterating I can't find one game to really get into anymore.

@Maynardjames it sucks that this game hasn't captured your attention as much as it has myself and others. This game does suffer from quite a few tech issues yes, but again beta is beta and hopefully once the code is finished most issues will be solved and they can nearly all be worked around with tweaking certain settings. If you could give this game another chance i really recommend you try out Hardcore if you haven't already and some of the more interesting race challenge modes.

In regards to my comment about intimidating i would say a passive tree with 1300 nodes, the skill gem system and the new take on currency is a lot to add to the ARPG genre. Which for new players can take quite awhile to get used to and in some cases (two RL friends of mine have done this) leads to frustration and abandoning the game before they can really enjoy it.

And that is why i set this stream up to try and help players get the most out of PoE, also in regards to working around tech issues if you tune into my stream tomorrow i will make a point of going over ways to optimise the client to run on any machine, also ways to handle overheating which was an issue with my laptop that i managed to fix.
