Lab Compass ok to use?

Need a few chants, i read its legal, just making sure.

It's legal you're good. It doesn't automate anything so it doesn't break the terms of service.

It only looks at the entire map and tells you where to go for the exits and other lab notables. No cheating whatsoever.

Really? One you have to use your brain for. You have to actually understand what's being described. The other just puts the answer there on your screen.

I get your point. I don't use it, but I instead just put the poelab image on my screen to follow. I find it much better as a guide for the rooms. I never found the compass very useful.

If you run lab on a semi-regular basis you will quickly memorize layouts. Lab compass is completely not needed. Relying on a lab compass is like relying on your phone's GPS to drive to work. Fairly sad imo
