Smuggler's Caches and Rogue Markers
|
For the life of me I cannot understand how you are not addressing the glaring issue with Smuggler's Caches.
During the campaign it is littered with them, then you hit maps and BOOM, non-existent. I ran 2 full A8 Sirius cycles and ran into ONE cache, what did it contain? A normal frickin contract, of which you get 1-4 per map from mobs. I have 485 contracts and 47 blueprints, this is after running over 250 contracts and 10 fully revealed grand heists, yet have only found 2 unique contracts. Also, rogue markers! You made a huge step forward when you added auto-loot for the metamorph organs, now we find ourselves back here picking up stacks of 40 markers every 5 seconds. Come on guys! " League is piece of shit. IMHO. |

" All valid, but they haven't even finished with the fixes they claimed to have done already. By the end of the league it won't even be 1/3 of the way done. They essentially tried to make a new game...withing a game...with an already awful development cycle as it is. Mobile games have better trading...

I've been thinking the same thing. If I'm not mistaken, the Smuggler's Cache was previously the only source for unique contracts. This is no longer the case, and the Smuggler's Cache as it functions now does not make any sense to me. It spawns on average for me maybe one in ten maps, and usually contains ~120 rogue's markers and a contract, or if I'm lucky, a blueprint.
Perhaps it would be better for a Smuggler's Cache to appear in every map, and contain "all the Rogue's Markers" from that map that would previously drop from monsters. Drop rates of contracts, blueprints and unique contracts from Smuggler's Cache may need to be adjusted to compensate, but this would make more sense both from functionality AND lore perspectives. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the current system adds nothing of value that this change would remove, and it would be far less tedious and tiresome. |

" if i remember right, the cache is still the only way to get uniq contracts it was listed in the "what we are working on" so it means, its not in the game atm... |
|
" Yep I just checked, you are correct. But still, Smuggler's Cache seems almost irrelevant after patch 3.12.4b in a few days. |

Do they ever exist? In areas while leveling you see one in every area. During maps I didn't find any after running 30 maps.
I still need one quest and many unique contracts and RNG sucks... "There's no thing like random one-shots in this game. You only die because you take 353,456,237 hits in 0.2 seconds."

" because 90% of the playerbase finds them irrelevant because they are just running fractured blueprints which require 0 markers. if the fractured blueprints werent a thing the bitching would be 24/7 who needs markers just farm fractured beasts and fracture a juiced blueprint |

Running fractured Blueprints still didn't solve the problem with not being able to finish the Heist Bosses storylines.
Last days I run over 50 Maps to find 1!!!! smugglers which contains a normal contract and some Markers. How can I fight the twins and other Bosses if I dont find the green contracts? This sucks ... |

Smuggler's Caches contain from my experience the usual pathetic small 2-3 mini piles of coins and a contract.
Guess i'm having a placebo effect when feeling good after seeing them, while in reality you can ignore them in the current form of implementation (little coins and low chance for blueprints / unique contracts). I admit they where pretty important during the acts or while completing your atlas to get the rogue quests, but after that they lose drastically any importance. Masterpiece of 3.16 lore
