The rarity of unique heists creates a natural imbalance with their difficulty
Update/bump to this thread:
Last night I finally found The Twins for the first time. I still haven't seen Unbreakable or Darnaw. These unique contracts really are WAY too damned rare; I'm about at the halfway point of the Heist Map Grind and I also have a dedicated Heist build that has reached lvl 92 without ever running a single map. So... however many T16 maps/heists that is. Several hundred of each, probably? And, exactly as I feared, the bosses were a complete joke because the build is level 95, has smashed the Uber Elder, and can facetank AL8 Sirus' Beam Barrage. Content this rare needs to be harder or it's pure anticlimax. Delve did it right: you could go an entire league without seeing Aul if you weren't focused on Delving, but when you did find him he actually felt like a boss. I don't even know what kind of attacks Vic and Vince use, because they died instantly and didn't do damage. And then the cherry atop this shit sundae was Lady Kurai's "bonus" of 10,000 rogue markers, which isn't enough to unlock HALF of my next grand heist. What the actual fack?! WHY IS THIS CONTENT SO RARE, when the difficulty and reward are both so laughably low? |

If you can facetank Sirus and Uber Elder, Aul wouldn't be that hard either, at least on normal depth (something under 600; not the 10000).
But you're right that The Twins fight is very simple and doesn't feel like final boss of the league. Oshabi was more entertaining fight, even though quite easy too. |
