Yeah, Heist is definitly too rippy.

A few leagues ago my mate got an Aul show up at 550 or so and it had not-too-bad mods but we all went in like "imma die but hey why not?"

After we all wiffed, he started tapping bossing services. No luck there, they all wiffed it too even with aurabot. One guy felt so bad he couldn't help, he gave my buddy 5 ex towards his next attempt.

That Aul just sat there glaring at him the rest of the league, like Oscar the Grouch peering out of his trash can, making snide remarks.

we probably burned 3 full meters of sulphite on that enterprise all told.

Although it's statistically proven that 100% AOE is the most common Aul mod to roll on any Aul instance, that thankfully was not a factor here. iirc it was 100% extra phys as lightning and turbo monsters, nothing too terrible.

I feel ya.
This Aul is probably my project of the league. It's kinda cool tho to think that even when you steamroll all content you can still find some poe stuff to kick your ass.
Interesting.

But he did a few mistakes tho. That Aul is literally unoutplayble. You either tank him or you die.

...

By your logic you made mistakes too. I know people that killed aul in 6k depth forget about your 500 one.

Yea well I know people who punched Aul and he blew up and then streamers fell from their ceiling and chris wilson said welcome to grinding gear games and he was allowed into the building where they work and they had cake and all kinds of party favors but then he had to leave and he wasnt able to take any of the streamers to prove that he was really there so really it is all just based on his own word and i guess we have to take him at it.

AKA it doesnt work like that
Imagine being so technologically illiterate that one would write that garbage quality of a post that's on par with those flat earther comments when a normal person could have simply googled/youtubed this in 10 seconds to see there's literal pages of different people killing 6k auls.
Yo, why do you guys have to be so toxic for no reason ?

I just found it hilarious to get my ass kicked by an obviously busted Aul. You're free to not give a F, but this is not a big duck contest, what the hell ?

It's not about 500 vs 6000, people who do 6k don't run standard all around builds, this is not the same category at all. If I sold my gear and made a 300 ex miner or something, yes I would blow up this Aul with ease but that's not the point.

On the twitch clip, the dude just had to use flasks and he would have survived.

Flasks mismanagement happens to everyone, but it's still a mistake. There's no mistake in getting one shotted by attacks you can't actually dodge at all, despite being extremely tanky.

I find it funny that I can steamroll 99.99% of the game and get my ass kicked by a random delve boss. There's no rant or whatever, I laughed my ass off.
Why do you want to bring toxicity where there's no need to ?

Also, I'd like to see 6k Aul fight with those mods or similar actually PROPERLY DONE, without a deep delver 0hp build one shotting Aul after 500 unrecorded failed attempts. Because I can also do 1000 attempts, and post my final victory on reddit and be like "Aul fight is so easy, I did it 1st try with rippy mods lol".

Now if you have an actual advice on the fight, I'd take it. This fight have become personal, and I have to send Aul a message.
Flasks wouldn't have saved that guy's rip are you trolling? I see this garbage everywhere including reddit. Everyone sees a guy get 1 shot, they list 7k hp and 8 endurance charges, the damage is almost all elemental. Like what.. are you saying a 10% spell dodge from a quartz flask would have been the savior?

The "proper" way to kill aul is to manually dodge all of his attacks if you're trying to facetank him you're doing it wrong. This is literally how 6k aul kills are done and they aren't just 1 shotting him. Not to mention a 0 mod aul at 6k depth hits orders of magnitude harder than anything -that- particular aul will ever do to you even if he shotgunned. And lastly you undermine the notion of trying a bunch of times and finally getting the kill - ok first of all most of these deep delvers only need a few tries to kill him, secondly you're literally doing the same thing as you told us you burned through your entire sulphite fuel.
nvm

Haven't encountered an Aul fight with dmg penetrating resistances yet but I have seen him with 100% AoE + two gain phys as x mods. Similar depth at 500 here too. You have to play it perfectly otherwise I'm getting one-shotted.
