Chains of Emancipation do not work with "vanilla" Temporal Chains.

Chains of Emancipation seems need some testing love. Waited for this unique for bloody month. When you remove curse inflicted from belt you go to max rage. When you remove Temporal Chains inflicted from map mod Unique do not work, you do not gain max rage. Most likely would be the case for every single source of Temp Chains in the game. All three ways to remove curse do not work with map mod Temp chains (you do not go to max Rage):
