Heist dmg/contract locked in inventory?
What is the point of this...
First of all, i just got to maps and tried 2 contracts which was lvl 68. -White mobs did 500 per hit with no dmg mod. -3 Rares came out from the wall when i opened the secret chest and instantly killed me. 3 different auras stacking with haste/phys/res combo. -Got to heist target at 2nd contract, first room on the return had a few rares spawn and again stack auras and instantly kill me, not only was i on the run, there wasn't even time for me to do a single arc. A tier 1 contract is harder than t10 maps, and you lose all loot, potential exp, the time and content. It feels like playing hardcore again, and i quit that for a reason... So if i can't complete contracts until i get more levels, which is fine by itself, i should be able to store them and not have them clutter my inventory! And not much talked about, but all this delaying in league content sucks when you want to keep your charges up, doesn't help have 12 second duration when it takes several seconds to get through a damn door... Also a huge bummer on phased bosses. Going from doing shaper, uber elder, awk 8 to being bazooka'd in the face from tier 1 content FeelsBad :( You just wasted 3 seconds reading this. If you go to the Rogue Harbour, there is a Heist Locker there where you can store all of your contracts and blueprints. The only one that you have to keep in your inventory are the green quest contracts.

Yeah that's the problem. I don't want/can't run them now, and i don't want them in my inventory either.
GGG talking a lot about league tabs, how about a temporary league inventory slot. E* also my bad for not describing them as quest contract, i really have put minimum effort into reading these. Normal contracts seems fine doing. You just wasted 3 seconds reading this. Last edited by Tian_Yihao#4319 on Oct 10, 2020, 9:25:24 AM

" You see it right, prepare to be way overleveled and overgeared even for the tier one contracts. " You can store regular contracts and blueprints in any normal stash tab, and as noted above, in the Heist Locker in the Harbour. Additionally, You can place a Heist Locker for free as a hideout decoration in Your own hideout to be able to access it from there too. Only the green (quest related) contracts cannot be put anywhere else, try to do them at least as they are dropping, there are not that much of them (15+5 for the whole quest chain). " Yes, besides the very high damage and the usually tight areas, durations are the second difficult problem to handle. Some jobs are working quite quick nowadays (lockpick, trap-disarming), some still takes ages (demolition, agility), so prepare for that too, to have a plan to keep up the needed buffs. Also a hint, beware with each doors, those are the most deadly places, when dozens of monsters are charged up and ready to parallelly attack You as You cross the fresly opened door. " Yeah, it feels strange for sure. Like for instance, I finally can destroy easily T16 maps in my current gear, any guardian or conqueror pracically with any mods, which gives me i83 heists where I am still getting rekt from time to time to some brutal incoming damage out of nowhere. " That is what the above mentioned Heist Locker what for, in the Harbour, even in Your hideout. All-time non-streamer luckless dropless rewardless tons-of-time-playing non-TFT-er 100% solo player.
So, it just turns out, we were lied to for years with the promises of a two-storied one PoE 4.0. All these worse and worse beta leagues, all these braindead changes, all lead to this. |

Yeah, there are several Heist mobs that is still WAY over tuned. Even the Unique mobs in the Heist contracts, have nothing on eg the Lightning lance. Single hit destroys 4k hp with 78% light res. And there is not just one of them waiting for you. There are still 50 waiting behind the door and many fire off at the same time.
Had to reroll to make a char that can kill them without going through the door. Seems like the only way to play this, which is absolute stupid. Any game mechanic, like labyrinth traps and this, that makes certain builds impossible to play, is fck stupid. Badly thought out and poorly implemented. "There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die. " ~ Hunter S Thompson ~
