Defeat Nashta conditionally - she does NOT cast emberstorm

this is beyond stupid. i run around for 2 minutes in there and she doesn't cast emeberstorm, additionally, after she kills me, i go back and land on a volatile which explodes as soon as i move (see video).

can you please fix it?

I was also struggling with this one a few hours ago after finally dropping it.

Tried to go out of her range, ontop of her, kited her all around the whole map several times before the volatiles came up, wheter she casts it in the open areas, whether on the bridges, and could not get that debuff on me. Then after the volatiles came up, ran in the middle of them for several more minutes, still no debuff. Tried it all for around 8-9 minutes then she one-shotted me all of a sudden with the same attack that killed You.

I was surprised, that the portal was still up, I was pretty mad at this point that I lost the completition as well. But when I went back, the entrance had a volatile just like You had it. Instead of walking, I tried to dash back during the grace period, but the volatile exploded just like Yours.

emberstorm it not its own ability, its applied by getting hit by her small frontal cleave after she teleports.

it does not appear to apply emberstorm 100% of the time.

I don't know if the ability is being dodged or if she's not casting enough, but given the rarity of this unique contract, it's actually way too hard to complete this challenge.

do you have some actual "proof" of this or it's only based on your experience or you watching the video you posted?

bcos if that's the case, it's just even more dumb to stand and get hit by some attack that actually does damage and looks similar to other attacks that can kill you.

how would hardcore players achieve this?

Just a headup, whether its bugged or not or bad wording of the challenge.

I did multiple run with my guildmate for this challenge, even if I get the debuff and did not explode any mine, it doesn't seems to ticked off for them.

The only logical explanation I could think of is because they wasn't in the boss room thus they did not get the debuff and hence it did not count for the challenge for them

For those who has trouble with clearing this challenge

1) Bring Nashata down to 20%.
2) Make her go into enrage mode (She has electricity spark, flame and faster attack, only in enrage mode she can apply emberstorm)
3) Look out for the teleport attack, avoid her other attack
4) You will need to get HIT by the teleport attack in enrage mode in order for her to apply emberstorm debuff on you.
5) Once you get the debuff, burst her down

So I should give up on this challenge with my poison bv (no stopping at 20%) max dodge build.

this is just silly, if getting actually hit is required for the challenge 80% of softcore builds just won't make it
