Curse Reflection is broken

Curse reflection effects (Shackles of the Wretched, Atziri) do not apply curses to the player when the player curses an enemy. When cursing an enemy the player will receive a permanent aura effect resembling a blasphemy supported curse that has no game-play function. This effect is permanent until the player leaves the zone.

Here I have attempted to use every available curse and have many curse aura visuals

Any news on this?

Like OP have said, a self-cast setup simply does not work as expected. A CWDT setup doesn't work either.
Previously (prior to 3.12) it did work with self-cast or CWDT.
The crash with Hexproof enemies (which also happened with Headhunter) was already fixed, but this particular bug seems to have been forgotten. It's not on the Known Issues list.

Just in case this is helpful to the team, here's some testing I've done (everything socketed and linked inside the Shackles of the Wretched gloves):
Self-Cast Setup (Not working)

Setup:
Level 1 Hex

Expected behavior:
Casting the Hex skill on a monster should reflect it back to the player.

Actual behavior:
The Hex does not get reflected back to the player.

Conclusion:
A bug.

CWDT Setup (Not working)

Setup:
Level 1 CWDT, Level 1 Hex

Expected behavior:
After receiving a total of 528 damage, CWDT should trigger the Hex skill, if there's a monster in the area created by the triggered Hex skill, the Hex should be reflected back to the player.

Actual behavior:
CWDT does trigger the Hex skill, and does curse monsters in the area, but the Hex does not get reflected back to the player.

Conclusion:
A bug.

Hextouch Setup (Working)

Setup:
Level 1 Hextouch, Level 1 Hitting Skill, Level 1 Hex

Expected behavior:
After using the hitting skill on a monster, Hextouch should trigger the Hex skill, which should be reflected back to the player.

Actual behavior:
Behaving as expected.

Conclusion:
Not a bug.

CWDT + Spell + Hextouch Setup (Working)

Setup:
Level 1 CWDT, Level 1 Hextouch, Level 1 Hitting Spell Skill, Hex skill with a level requirement greater than or equal to 39

Expected behavior:
After receiving a total of 528 damage, CWDT should trigger the hitting spell skill, if this spell hits a monster it should make Hextouch trigger the Hex skill, which should be reflected back to the player.

Actual behavior:
Behaving as expected.

Conclusion:
Not a bug.

To summarize: It seems like the only way to get the reflection to work is to use Hextouch in the skill setup.

I have been theorycrafting a build that's dependent on self-casting/CWDT Hex skills with Shackles of the Wretched, which unfortunately I can't get going at all at the moment, due to this bug.
I would really appreciate an update on this.
Lots of love to the entire team at GGG ♥
