f key not working for item pick up

as im sure all of u can understand clicking everything on screen is starting to take a toll on my mouse hand so i want to minimise the amount of clicking.
i just tried using the bound f key for item pick up and it straight up doesnt work on anything, ive read forums and threads and it seems others have this issue aswell and never post a fix. ive tried disabling loot filter, still doesnt work tried resetting all binds to default, still doesnt work tried setting it to a different key, still doesnt work is this function simply broken and doesnt work? I might be misinterpretting the nature of the issue, but it looks like this is a misunderstanding of what the function is for.
When you set "Key Pickup" UI option to "Use Bound Key", the way it works is that the bound key has to be held in order to pick up items. This allows you to move around an area cluttered with items without accidently picking them up with every left click, even if you're just trying to reposition. Unfortunately, this option won't solve your problem of wanting to be able to pick up an item without a mouse input. |
