Scamming experiences when selling currency

Dear exiles, I want to inform you all about something I encountered today. As you see in the image attached, the nickname as appeared [Removed by Support] offered to buy my alchemy orbs with his/her chaos. I was selling my alchemy as 26 alch/10 chaos. This character offered to buy 182 alchemy for 38 chaos (as seen in the photos). This was my fault not to recognize the weird numbers before clicking ok. I only paid attention to it after the sell. At some point, I cannot call this a scam, but the feeling of being scammed is real and there is no doubt this character meant to scam. I tell the story just to let everybody know and be aware of this trick. The scammers take advantage of the players' trust in the texting system that automatically does the calculation for us, they adjust the numbers in the text and those who don't check will fall for it. Check the number well before clicking ok, have your calculator on if needed. If the person means to buy, they won't mind waiting a little bit. It's better to sell every thing in 10. For example, If you are selling chaos, so 10c for 26 alch, 10c for 34 chisel and ect. That will make the calculation easier. If u are selling your chaos in 10, but someone come to offer to buy 6 or 8 chaos, be careful, they are scammers, because you have set things in 10, the system will only offer 10, 20, 30 and ect (depends on your stock), there will be no such thing as 8, 11, 23 and so on. If there is, so you know the generated text has been altered, not for your own good. This is the first scam I encountered so far since I played this game. PoE has quite a good system to let gamer have more control and protection over their acc, but I suppose when one means to trick, they will find a lot of way to do it. I think gamers still have to be more be careful protect their labor. Finally, I hope this is helpful for someone out there and if you know other forms of scamming is going on or have experienced it, please share! Thank you.
