Well I must then advise you to e-mail techsupport@grindinggear.com regarding this and the damage cursed to your local SSD by the PoE client.
Ok, just sent an email. But look, I don't want reimbursement or anything like that, I just don't feel safe to install the game again even though I want to play.
I really like that game but don't trust on the company anymore.
Well GL with your next game then.

I have something like that few leagues ago with Crucial SSD but it was hardware ssd issue not the game it was died i cant detect it on bios , and if it goes detect its work really slow and cant format it or do anything to it i was give it back as broken and change to another it was on my dad pc.
I use Corsair MP300 512GB and my new pc for 2 years now 3 leagues toal.
And dont see any issues like that, have only 1 bluescreen caused amd driver crash and my usb headset too.
And after fixes i dont notice crashes on DX.
I turn off Vsync rest is on default and i probably my fps are capped to 60 in afterburner instead.
Probably unlucky oh and btw after whole pc crash win10 always do some checking when booting and that can takes loonger then normal on boot and on user loading screen.
PS:Bios/Windows 10 option FAST BOOT can cause issues as the system is not shutdown compleatly is save as a file and load witch can cause issues with drivers etc, witch can make issue with ssd other think that can damage ssd is tempeartures and if your ssd is small making partitions is not welcome too.
Good thing you can check is your ssd health and how the save/write looks on your ssd when playing poe.
Wait, my SSD is a Crucial as well:
How do you fixed that? It just went back to working without you doing anything?

He RMA it and got either a new one or money back and bought one from a differant vendor. Sounds like this vendor could have production problems with the SSD's ?

Yeah, looks like Crucial and PoE are not compatible with each other.
I'll try buy a 128gb SSD from another vendor. Do you use SSD do play? What do you recommend?

I would not but a small one because some SSD loose alot of performens when they are like 80% full.
Yes at the moment I am using a Samsung 840 500GB SSD that has worked flawless.
They are known to make very good and fast SSD's.
Next pc will be with a NVME gen 4 SSD.

Go with Corsair (I have MP300 512GB works well) Samsung (but no QVO), Goodram IRDM PRO (CX400 are good but sometiems fail too)
Or ADATA - but Adata likes to slow when fully loaded.
Bigger then better and dont do partion or anything and if you can get rid of hdd - indexing scaning etc slows pc, more if they used and old

My motherboard and processor doesn't support PCIe SSDs, only SATA :/

Depending on your SATA interface, then this could be one option -->
Samsung 860 EVO 2.5" SSD - 500GB
SSD (Solid state drive), 500 GB, intern, Datahastighed: 550 MBps (læs) / 520 MBps (skriv), IOPS: 98000 (læs) / 90000 (skriv), 512 MB LPDDR4 cache, 2.5", SATA-600 - Samsung 3-core MJX Controller
Or this one if you want more space -->
Samsung 860 EVO 2.5" SSD - 1TB

And how does that have anything to do with this topic??
Or are you claiming that your SSD's doesn't work after the PoE crash ??
Make your own threads per forum guidelines. You could also e-mail techsupport@grindinggear.com with your Windows logs, client.txt file and full DXDiag report.
