Transcendence

Apparently Keystone Transcendence doesnt work correctly with hits with elemental pen or at least Shaper's cold balls. The max hit is 8500 witout resistances. I have 72% cold ress and they have 25%. Got hit couple times for around 4000-4500 what makes no sence due to the keystone. With my armour ( around 50k) the hit should've another 52% reduced damage which one doesnt have at all. Even crits shouldn't hit me so hard ( 59% reduced extra damage from critical strikes).

Armour mitigates relative to the amount of damage the hit would have done. You cannot assume mitigation based off what PoB says unless you force the hit damage to the correct value, though at 50k armour your mitigation of 52% sounds about accurate against a non-crit. You have 72% - 25% = 47% cold resistance against the bullets.

Shaper bullets deal up to 8458 damage. I think he has a default 130% crit multiplier which gets reduced to 71% with your stats. That means a bullet can do 8458 * (1 + .71) * (1 - .47) = 7665 damage before armour is calculated. Off the top of my head I’ll assume your armour prevents 40% damage against the crit bringing the damage down to 4599 in a hit. Sounds like everything is working to me. The crits just hurt.

Your calculations seems to be accurate, i just watched the video ( https://youtu.be/vILyQ6tRDI8 ) Or im SUPER unlucky and from 4 hits who hit me without block and IC 3 of them were cirts LOL Didnt noticed it before, but you might be right. There is one hit for like 2500 which one should be somehow accurate. And again, when IC proc it hits me under 1000. Maybe i just was wrong because i was unlucky with crits, and it gave me wrong perspective on it.

IC isn’t going to affect the first hit. You take damage > CWDT procs IC > subsequent hits over the duration get mitigated.

Yes i know that. Im just suprised how unlucky i was. With IC i meant the dmg calculation and that it does work.
