Heist mob overload

When escaping heists, i'm just overwhelmed by mobs and they all rush me and kill me. Why are there infinite mobs? spawn a certain finite amount after taking the artifact or after sounding the alarm.

thats becouse you must escape it in time, not kill all the monsters in your way :D thats how this league works, you grab loot and run.
