[Solved] Quest Item stuck in inventory

Was doing a green contract which required this item and I failed the contract. Now the item is stuck in my inventory and can not progress lockpicking. I have ran quite a few maps and have stopped getting the heist chests that drop the green contracts.

EDIT: I solved this by dropping the item in a random heist from my stash (non quest). This allowed for me to get smugglers caches to spawn in maps which allows me to progress my quest line.
