Sorry, but sometimes I feel like people live in poe forums and dont know anything else about the internet. Take youtube for example. There are dozens of channels that present dozens of viable starter builds for 3.12. There are at least, at least 10-20 easy to play, easy to gear, easy to have fun with starters that have a different yet rewarding playstyle and its totally up to you which to choose. Because, frankly said, they are all going to work! Melee and casters, selfcast or totems/minions, life or ES (or with archmage/agnostic combo even mana based), direct hit or Dot/ailment, one button or 10-button builds, afk-builds, well known builds, builds utilizing the new gems, I could go on and on... TL;DR: the content is out there. Just go into poe forums or YT or reddit or even google. Watch some vids of a couple of gems that interest you and then check if one of the 20-30 top streamers put out a starter build of that gem. Sorry, but I sometimes think people assume that what they like is universal and everyone wants to watch vids - the people making them get through things very slowly, often key words are inaudible etc etc - I like to read things. There are millions of people posting on reddit, some good some not, I can't tell who's good and who's talking rubbish - this is the official forum and... The forums here are for discussion, that's what I'm using them for. WTP? Also, I made this thread not that long after the patch notes when I found nothing coming up on searches, so I was starting a discussion based around the just-released patch notes. Reminds me of the old story when your friend invites you to play smash-brothers at his house; then hands you the busted up controller with stuck buttons.
