People threatening GGG to quit playing if Harvest doesn't go core
|
If someone wanted to quit they'd just quit.
The signalling just shows they want to play. GGG probably respects the data not forum threats. So if you actually want action then quit. I feel like quitting sometimes. Sometimes I do. Especially after a nerf that kills something fun I built over hundreds of hours. Quit blight and played Wow classic for a bit then quit that to come back for Delirium. I always come back. I thought about playing Standard but I got annoyed at the passive tree resets and changes/nerfs ie. that benched my level 99.5 ms Jugg. |

" nothing wrong with sitting 2-3 leagues if you're tired anyway. I currently might not return until poe 2 or even after poe 2 probably the second league of poe 2 might be back.. there's so many games coming that poe is just something I don't feel like playing currently no matter how good the next league is after having 3 trash leagues. "Parade your victories, hide your defeats. Mortals are so insecure."
Poe 0.2/10 Returning to poe in 3.27: ATROCIOUS game performance, 5/10 league and I apprently missed the loot back in the last league. The more things change the more they stay the same.. |

" u have 37 achievements done i stoped playign a month ago, like many many otehrs, this league was for the 1 percenters, and wallet whales ggg is desperate now, look at steam charts for example... lowest number of players since FOREVERRRRRRRR I went back to wow and i regret every second i spent on poe, every damn second was a waste of my time

"what Harvest was a league that SSF players could thrive in. This makes no sense at all. |

" Oddly enough this isn't the first-time I heard that Harvest caters for the 1%. I assume they mean the 1% will get the most benefit from Harvest therefore enjoy it most. While it is true that the 1% will get the most from it (they do in every league) but they are not enjoying it if all the causal/newer player vs elite/1% on Reddit and here are any indication. lol quitting because a mechanic that's ruined drops and the economy won't be kept? lol
The ease of which you could get near mirror tier items. It was silly, it was predicted, it was an experiment that failed. The game is undergoing a huge balance issue with league mechanic and currency bloat. This would have been the final nail in the coffin if it stayed. |

" I see it like this...it's GGG's game not ours. |

People need to learn to understand that the "1%" (which is a ridiculous term IMO, given that a good player can play on budget constraints) are the top for a reason and it's not because of the league mechanic alone wills it.
A rewarding enough league mechanic will reward most players even if they don't take advantage of it fully. Harvest let most people craft endgame viable gear. Delirium/Legion/Metamorph were huge loot explosions that gave a lot of useful things. If you actually wanted to see a league where there was a gap between what people are calling the 1% and the rest of the community, just look at the synthesizer mechanic in Synthesis. Now don't get me wrong, Synthesis provided a lot for the general playerbase once they fixed map drops and made it more rewarding: reward nodes were nice loot explosions, fractured items provided a narrower form of crafting items, the unique items were very good, each Synthesis zone was great for experience... but the Synthesizer mechanic was so complex and required so much crafting to reduce the odds of hitting anything other than Light Radius that it was prohibitive towards most players. THAT is a crafting mechanic for the 1%, not Harvest which anyone can do for free and is much easier to understand without an excel database and web app. |

Threatening to quit due to Harvest not going core is as silly as claiming that Harvest was for the top 1%.
