[3.11] Stone Golem Slam does not calculate the skill cooldown correctly
I'm using a golemancer with stone golems. Yesterday the golems used ONLY slam when attacking bosses. Now they do 1 slam then switch to regular attack, then 1 slam then regular attack and so on.
Let me explain. Stone golems have a skilled called: **Slab Slam - AoE melee attack approximately 20 units in radius, 100% physical, taunts enemies, supported by melee/AoE supports.** This skill has a 4cd. If you want golems to use slam permanently then, using various jewels, you can get them to do that. The formula itself is pretty simple. As long as 1 divided by attack/cast rate multiplied by 3 (or 4 if using awakened multistrike) is ever so slightly greater than the skill cooldown, then the attack speed is optimal for the golems to use slam permanently. Concrete example, let's take my current build(https://pastebin.com/hdPY1MUa) ![]() We got - Attack/Cast Rate: 1.91 - Skill Cooldown: 1.10s By the above logic the math is like so (1 / 1.91) * 3 = 1.57 Since the skill cooldown is done once the golems finish the attack they should use the slam again. But they don't. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PGXaoR9Jkl0&feature=youtu.be second 7 you can clearly see the golem using its regular attack when that should NEVER happen. I'll also leave this here since it's a more comprehensive discussion https://old.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/i122ps/did_golems_get_ninja_nerfed/ Last edited by junkypic011#0639 on Jul 31, 2020, 10:18:18 AM Last bumped on Jul 31, 2020, 1:43:50 AM
