Flesh and Stone, Supreme Ego

I'm currently running Herald of Ash and Flesh and Stone, I just picked up Supreme Ego.

The description says it affects one aura but the increased mana reservation is applying to both Flesh and Stone and Herald of Ash (they both went from 25% to 37%). I really thought Flesh and Stone wouldn't be affected, since you don't get any benefit and because it's a stance. Or that I wouldn't be able to have both on at the same time. Is this a bug?

Supreme Ego just states "+50% More mana reserved". It is global. Anything that reserves mana, will have its reservation malus.
Not a bug, but actually how it was intended to work to begin with. The concept is you should just run with one single aura that boosts you, and achieving extra power with Banners, Buffs or mines would be harder to sustain since you should get most of the buff by your only (buffed) aura

Huh? It says "You can only have one permanent aura on you from your skills"

So that means that only one buff is actually getting the damage increase? And is that the aura you cast first? Or how would I control that?
Ok, let me break it down for you:

Supreme Ego
You can only have one Permanent Aura on you from your Skills
Auras from your Skills do not affect Allies
Auras from your Skills have 50% more Effect on you
50% more Mana Reserved

---

You can only have one Permanent Aura on you from your Skills
This mean you can socket as many Auras you want in your equipment, but you can only have one of them activated at the same time. So, supposedly you have Wrath and Anger, you can either activate Wrath OR activate Anger - but not both of them.

It also specifies this restriction applies to Permanent Auras. Non-Permanent auras are
> Banners
> Vaal Auras (ex. Vaal Grace)
> Any permanent Aura supported by Blessing (Legion-Exclusive support from Templar unique boots)

Auras from your Skills do not affect Allies
By definition, Auras affects also your allies (and/or your enemies in case of Pride and Banners). While under Supreme Ego, an Aura can support you and only you, just like what happens with an Ichimongi. This also applies to your non-Permament Auras

Auras from your Skills have 50% more Effect on you
Whatever is the Permanent Aura you have chosen to use, and all other non-permanent auras you are going to use will have their effect on you greatly boosted. In case of banners, which apply a buff on you and a debuff on the enemies, only the part that buffs you will get the 50% More effect, but not the debuff on the enemy

50% more Mana Reserved

Everything that reserves mana, such as:
> The one permanent aura you are using
> Buffs
> Curses supported by Blasphemy
> Banners
> Spells supported by Spellslinger
> Mines

Will get a sharp increase on the reserved mana. Since it's a "more", you cannot lower that malus with the usual "Reduced Mana Reserved", but a Hierophant can with its Ascendancy that grants him "Less mana reserved"
Herald of Ash isn't an Aura, so it doesn't count towards the only-one limit. Flesh and Stone also doesn't affect you, it affects enemies, so that means Supreme Ego is doing literally nothing helpful, and only hurtful things, for you if you only have Herald of Ash and Flesh and Stone as your reserved mana skill buffs.

Okay, I get it now. Definitely thought Herald of Ash was an aura, so I'm dumb. And thanks for breaking it down like that, I really appreciate it.

Glad to know I can just refund that point and move on since it's not helping (and in fact hurting) me.
