[1 181 340 030] Facetor's Lens not working on corrupted gems

Bricked my gem to 19, partly relevelled already, farmed new lenses, wanted to finish with them.
Facetor's Lens: "Adds stored experience to a gem, up to its maximum level." However, I cannot apply the lens to the corrupted level 19 gem:  I suppose it is a bug, as the lens does not state anywhere that is only works on non-corrupted gems and as the gem normally can level up again to level 20 even if it is corrupted. All-time non-streamer luckless dropless rewardless tons-of-time-playing non-TFT-er 100% solo player. So, it just turns out, we were lied to for years with the promises of a two-storied one PoE 4.0. All these worse and worse beta leagues, all these braindead changes, all lead to this. Last bumped on Jul 23, 2020, 10:35:06 AM

Not a bug. Corrupted items can’t be modified with currency. Kinda the whole point of corruption.

" Thanks, yes, I get that point, thought of it myself too as the reason. I just felt, that this lens shall be an exception, as the corrupted gem can gain experience. An exception like we can change sockets / links on corrupted items via the crafting bench for instance.
