Tasalio's Sign Added Damage

Does the 40-60 to chilled count for spells and attacks? Anyone know for sure?

Yes, it works with both.
I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.
if a non-weapon states simply "add x-y [type] damage", it is implied is an "add x-y [type] damage to spell and attacks".
Same goes to boots enchantments from Labyrinth.

The same modifier into a weapon increase only the local damage for that weapon (and will be increased by Whetstones, since it is treated as Base Damage).

Despite the modifier boosting both attacks and spell when in a ring, the modifier is NOT treated as an Attack or a Caster modifier, therefore cannot be boosted by Catalysts
Turbulent catalyst should work.

Right, sorry. Mixed it up with the Physical Circle modifiers. Turbulent works for the Bloodline rings.
thanks, well those rings sound pretty freaking good if you ask me

I'm thinking Hrimburn plus Immolate double Tasalio's Sign and Shade of Solaris? hrm?

You are thinking about Cold damage can burn + added damage against chill + added fire damage against burning enemies + elemental overload wand. You've lost me on the last one.

The rings are pretty but not game-breaking. The one I can actually see some use with is the Ngamahu for some very odd Life Gain on Hit against ignited with a Xoph's Nurture. And even like that it would be a worst output than an ordinary Thief's torment + Quill Rain

Well doesn't the added cold damage get increased by the %400 spell/attack damage that two shade of solaris will give? (I mean for that wand attack that deals 150% spell damage as attack damage)So that 80-120 will become 320-480? Then the Immolate damage will also go up by 400%? Right? And then ALL of that damage will get +40% from Elemental overload and then all of that elemental damage will get +40% extra chaos damage buff? Or am I'm missing something.

Cuz the cold will chill and burn at the same time. Right?

ALso going CI so that's 40% more attack damage on top of all that from the attack damage on full?

It can be a decent damage boost. But you also have to keep in mind that the base damage of Shade is very poor (and it has very poor AS) since it's not meant for attacks, and Kinetic Bolt has no added damage of its own to improve on that poor base damage. With enough other sources of added damage it should be ok but not amazing.

hrm okay just kind of thinking of ways to scale my CWS occultist's damage without harvest crafting.

Shade of Solaris takes crit away but it gives my 5 sources of damage over time a lot of increases for little investment. When the steroids go off my average spell damage goes up by 500% - 1000% if I'm not mistaken and that's with arcane surge and all the other things. And rough estimate of about 30% more damage over time from it.

I was thinking if I added even moar added damage to every spell...

But I was also thinking about those claws that give spell damage with block chance - easy to max out with Glancing Blows nowadays. Then I could have my critical damage back and also gain 16hp for everytime a spell hits something.
