My spectre disappeared when I changed my gear. And I cannot desecrate the corpse in my hideout. I even cannot desecrate any corpse.

Do you have enough Dexterity to equip all your gear? Desecrate requires 98 Dex, and GMP (in your Spectre setup) requires 106 Dex. If you had higher Dex on the piece of gear you swapped out, you may not have enough now. The tooltip for the Dex requirement will be coloured red if you do not meet it.

Yes, I have 110 Dex. I can desecrate, only no corpse. I think I am losing my spectres.

When you say there are no corpses, do you mean none at all? Or not any spectre corpses? Desecrate should at least give some generic corpses like skellies or something.

If you have removed your spectre gem from your gear and then logged off or moved to a town where skills are disabled, your spectre pool will be deleted. This means you can not generate the spectres in your hideout via desecrate.
Make sure to summon atleast one of your desired spectres before logging off or moving to a different area. Then they will be saved in the desectrate corpse pool.

My goodness. I'm glad you didn't play spectres before the gem was updated.. you used to have to go to the old map room zone in solaris temple and resummon every time you lost a spectre, logged off, disconnected, or anything else. Spectres in the desecrate pool wasn't even a thing, let alone spectres saving on the gem.
I don't think they need to do much more than what they've done now, or you start getting into the realms of exploitable (trading spectres between characters or finding other niche ways to exploit the mechanics of the gem).

That sounds awful. I will pay more attention next time if I can get my spectre back. I will try trading if I can get Scinteel Synthete back. Wish me luck.

Quick tip for keep your favorite spectres. This is a good option if you have to swap mapclearing spectres for boss killers.
Create a PVP only toon and buy him a queens decree (they are pretty cheap) and skill towards "Death annuments" YOu can use 3 spectres then.
First, open a map on your main character so your hideout instance gets "safed" then you create corpses with desectrate (if you have your desired spectres ofc) log on your spectre bank and you can summon them there too. You got them now saved on a toon.
