Teach me how to craft a wand

Hello all

I saw a twitch player using a wand that I fell in love with, it looked like this

42% increase spell damage

129% increased spell dmg
Adds 6 to 132 spell dmg
25% increased cast speed
+38% global critical strike multiplier
+32 to maximum mana
Trigger a socketed spell when you use a skill

I don't care much for the 2 last suffixes(trigger spell and mana)
I rly want all those spell dmg and lightning dmg.

Can you guys please teach me how I can craft this item from scratch ty!!

i think it will not take long until someone will post a random wiki page with all the mass of crafting options collected and tell you "go read yourself"

unfortunately most of the "community" is quite toxic / unwilling to help regarding such question.

... but maybe you are lucky, i will observe as i am interested, too ( as i am not non-lifer willing to grind my ass of through these wiki pages all the day ).

I would first check the guide for your build and see if someone has done a post (or video) on how to craft a wand for the build.

There are several ways to do it, and any of them is going to take a lot of currency due to the rng involved: alt spam, fossil spam, and new Harvest techniques with either of those. I have no idea which method ends up being the cheapest.

Crafting something that good will be a bit complex. If you don't find recommendations in your build guide, I would honestly start by watching a couple of videos to understand how basic alt and fossil crafting work. Videos for crafting are often easier to follow than written directions.

FWIW, "trigger a socketed spell" is a bench craft, so you can easily avoid it. But the "+ max mana" on that particular wand is a double mod prefix that is also providing a boost to the spell damage. To dump the mana you will also have to dump some of the damage.

And increased lightning damage is in the same mod family as increased spell damage, so you're not going to be able to have both. You also have 3 prefixes on there already, so you can't add another unless you get rid of one.

Honestly there are no video that teaches beginner how to craft these wands.

I gave it a try on my ilvl 84 with t1 essences but that game me a +92% spell dmg and bunch of bad mods so im curently working on removing them and then Aug a lightning mods on it.

Then when it comes to the suffixes I dunno rly how to put them on.

True. You will really need to watch at least a few different videos to get a good sense for crafting ...since most videos either focus on one aspect of crafting, or sometimes one very specific piece of gear.

Remember you won't be able to add % increased lightning if you already have % increased spell.

I cant find anywhere on the Webb a wand with that amount of spell dmg.
If you search the account Manni2 and he's ball lightning miner is called Manni_slavesirus there u cas se he's wand.

Tier 1 essence gives +90% spell dmg
Bench gives +60% spell dmg
I been farming lightbibg/caster mod all day and haven't reached higher then +70% spell dmg.

How the hell does one get +120% spell dmg??

He has a spell damage mod, and then he has a hybrid mod with spell damage + mana.

He probably has good rolls on both - which will take many attempts or incredible luck, since the top tier rolls are in the range of 1% or less.

So getting two of them with alt spam is about 1 chance in 10,000. (And actually, you can't, since they are both prefixes...) No idea what the odds are with fossils or Harvest, but you can try craftofexile to see.

Use poedb. You can put ilvl of the item, check fossils if you want to craft with them or even see weight of any mod you might get.
You should learn about chances of getting your desired mod and best way to get it using fossil crafting.
