Life visibility with Energy Shield is terrible

On the health bar above our character simply adding a red background to indicate lost life would solve the issue mostly, but I think it would also be a good idea to not outline the entire health bar with energy shield, but instead perhaps the top or bottom of it. Since our health globe is red though we can't give it a red background so I don't know what the solution would be, but the energy shield graphic really ruins the visibility.
