Awakened Elemental Focus not supporting Wintertide Brand

As you can see in the image below, the Awakened Elemental Focus support gem is not supporting my Wintertide Brand, it is not showing up as the tiny letter and it also does not change any of the damage numbers on the skill in game.
The normal Elemental Focus support gem works properly, but I swapped to the awakened version and noticed this bug.  Last bumped on Jul 5, 2020, 11:01:54 AM
