Reforge with Caster mod not working on small cluster with block

Title basically says it all. According to poedb.tw the notables "Mage Hunter" and "Mystical Ward" have the caster tag. And thus it should be possible to use "Reforge blabla including a Caster modifier" on them, but it doesn't work.

Either fix this being possible or give us an official list which mods are caster mods and which are not. Because having to randomly find out that something is caster or not just sucks. It's not fun.

This does seem like a bug to me. If I try to reforge caster mod on an ilvl 81 small cluster jewel with 'Added small passives grant 1% chance to block spell damage', then I get Mystical Ward. If the jewel already has Mystical Ward, I cannot reforge it ("no valid mods").

1. Where is Mage Hunter? I can see other small cluster jewels with it on Trade, at lower item levels.

2. Why can't it just roll Mystical Ward again? If I reforge elder boots with attack or phys, it will just roll Fortify again even though it already has it. This is inconsistent.


EDIT: I was able to roll Mage Hunter on the same jewel using alterations, and the tooltip has the Caster tag. So this is definitely a bug.

BUMP, also facing this issue. Is this a bug or has anyone found a workaround?

Not ilevel problem, cluster jewel was 83, seed was 82 or 83. Strangely enough, crafting normal to rare works, but reforge rare doesn't. Definitely has to be a bug here unless I'm missing something.

High likely you just miss the mod group

edit: well the weighting of Mage Hunter is below 300, RNG is not a bug

While Mystical Ward has a weighting above 700

You can't see the ilvl of the jewel here? You just have to take my word for it. Plus, as others have posted, you can naturally roll mage hunter on it, indicating that the jewel DOES have caster tag.

Then post the god *** screenshot that show ilvl and adv mods display

Edit: Do you even know how reforge with a caster mod works? If the item can potentially has an affix with caster tag, it WILL pick that one. Right now we get the error of no mod with that tag, which is flat out lie because it certainly does, with Mage Hunter and Mystical Ward. If it doesn't give out one, it has to give out the other, but the bug with reforge says there isn't one.

So, you did not take the screenshot with that error msg?

And instead a random screenshot that prove the ilvl only?
