GM in game is like a Bot, why hire such people? Chat log inside, opinions anyone?

- Before there is any flaming wars although I am pretty sure its going to invite some and mods may even delete this.

- I wish to highlight that I am not complaining about the GM as I do realize that I am at fault here since I am deemed to have break the rules. (which I still don't know where is it admittedly).

- Its also a simple show of how the GM is inflexible with the rules.

- I am debating how he should have handle the situation and how inflexible he is. Not about rules.

My rant:

My point is simple, them GMs don't use brain. Why don't just code word detectors into the software then? Cut cost and save you from doing P&L budgeting. They are suppose to made sense judgment and not abuse their power.

I repeat SENSIBLE JUDGEMENT.

- The first feeling when I get muted was that the person knows the GM personally.

- I was asking a simple question, someone was being irritating (and wrongly, since its not about trade), and i just tell him off. BAM, muted for nothing. No warning, no question asked. I don't even see gold spammer muted so fast. What? they are gay partners or something?

- Why was I peeved? Because the GM banned without a single warning, nor any reasons before he banned. Even a judge looks at the evidence before giving judgment, why? GM pretending to be god in a game? A game that I donate money to which I extremely regretted (but that's not the main problem here)

- And the GM even say that MUTING is not a form of power that GM have (only ban is a form of power abusement from GM). Then why not allow players like us to mute others as well? Again he doesn't make sense.

- I also realize (I am in Customer service before), them superiors or whatever always side with each other. All I asked for are WARNING BEFORE POWER IS ADMINISTERED.

TLDR.

GGG needs to review their policies regarding ingame communication.
PoE chat is becoming a cesspool.

The other day I had a bunch of kids discussing anal beads and chainsaw ejaculation and making dog talk jokes using of extremely vulgar/offensive/filthy language while a mod read it, said it was fine and did nothing... then the mod logged out.

Other then that... OP you are an id... oh wait no I cannot say that can I ^^.

Well, I must admit that the GM was doing his job just perfectly fine! He even continued to answer your questions politely despite of your obvious anger against him.

It's also appearant that it was you that made the wrong thing (which you mentioned as well in the beginning of your post) so I fail to see why you even are having this discussion. Since you have not read the rules and didn't follow them then you get the penalty for that.

It's not really like the police would give you a warning the first time you är driving your care above the allowed speed limit even though you say you wasn't aware of the "rules" that says you have to follow the speed limits. You will get a fine directly and learn the hard way, exactly as you will have to do in this case as well.

Just move on and stop putting energy into this..
