difference between harvest league and standard ?

#anybody knows what is the difference between this league and standard apart from the league exclusive unique and the additional implicit on jewels craft?

A strange farm sim mechanic and lowered droprates of everything else because of said farm sim.

New monsters to kill - as always.
New bosses to kill - as always.
New league uniques - as always.
New (OP) crafting options - not "always".

They just aren't in your maps, and they don't provide the same rewards as "always".

Harvest is the horrific place that GGG went to torture at least half it's player base or more. Yes, some people actually do like Harvest. Pig's also like to roll in manure, too.

Harvest will cause you to waste valuable game time, to build a stupid farming system, which is basically forced on you if you want to make currency crafting. If you're a crafter/seller like me, who is used to making enough exalts, per season, to pimp out your character very well, you're royally screwed unless you do this extremely frustrating system. You'll feel like you're going to a job that you absolutely hate and hate yourself for having, in the first place.

In other leagues, you could skip the mechanic, if you don't like it, craft up some stuff to make a profit off of, and gear yourself up nicely. Not this league. Hit the trough, piggies, we're going to play Farmville or starve, unless we accept the slop that has been presented to us.

Personally, I would have quit, for the league, like the record high number of players have done, already, the first Sunday, but I'm a guild leader, here, and have an obligation to stick around. So, every day is met with being forced to do this garbage, in order to keep up with the Jone's.

On the lighter side, once you're done with the grueling task of learning this incredible stupidity, it does get better. The nightmare does end and you'll get a payoff. Looking back, you'll wonder if it was all worth it. In the mean time, though, you might quit the league, like around half or more of the player base, by mid league.

My advice to you is play Standard, now, which is free from this B.S., learn the game, and try next league and hope that this worst mechanic ever has been removed, permanently, from the game.

Harvest sucks. What in the heck was GGG thinking?
