If we buy a pack now, does GGG get the money or does 10cent get a cut?
" Give Wolcen time, say realistically 2 years to improve design and stability...if they manage to stay alive. GGG10cent all good. |

C'mon guys, this sort of undermining trolling behaviour is not helpful and is just toxic. You all know any discussion of Moderation is prohibited so we can only conclude you're deliberately baiting both moderators and other disenchanted forum users to join your mob.

" have all the doubts, every league start i type in globbal "never call someone a <Removed by Support>" (you fill the blanks) and get banned for being "racist", tho im saying the exact oposite Last edited by Jamie_GGG#0000 on Jun 28, 2020, 8:56:48 PM

" They're the same thing. The Tencentacle Monster effectively owns ~85% of Grinding Gear Games. That's waaaay over the line for control by any measure, but they typically don't interfere with the day-to-day operations of any of their acquired assets -- the reason they acquired them in the first place is the day-to-day operations are profitable and low-effort on their behalf. That's just good investing. Committed PoE supporters probably have little to fear provided it's 'business as usual' with GGG and PoE. It's when or if things start to noticeably slide that Tencent might cast their baleful gaze southward. Think of it like the relationship between a landlord and a long-time renter. Amicable enough until the basic pact of their agreement (one pays the other, on time) is broken. Then...well, the investor will start to question the worth of that investment. Not a good place for the investment to be. Please disavow yourself of any illusion that you can support GGG but not Tencent. You can support PoE through supporting GGG; you cannot support GGG without supporting Tencent Games. Given you said in a later post, 'this is principle', then I think the answer is clear enough for you. As it was for me. The next question is: how far are you then willing to go to stand by that principle? There are degrees, but the very least of them is simply 'stop supporting'. If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between. I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period. Last edited by Foreverhappychan#4626 on Jun 28, 2020, 9:26:38 PM

The no support stance is what I have been sitting on since the aquisition... until last league. My standard stash was found wanting(at 92 tabs now) and so I gave the Chinese government 60 more dollars. Now with the release of their blatantly obvious greed tabs, I am just done. This new league... one week in and I'm bored to tears of it. When your creative department relies heavily on copying popular mobile apps...the end is near. PoE2 isn't going to change anything either. Well, it may enable more people with complete dogshit pc's to play the game, but people with dogshit pc's don't buy supporter packs either.

" HAHA, talking about silly censorship, i got silly censorship, what a world! never call someone a <Removed by Support> is that good enough for our chinese overlords and the regresive hypercompassive left? Last edited by Jamie_GGG#0000 on Jun 28, 2020, 10:37:54 PM

" Perhaps so, buuuut, when they make poor, unbalanced and rediculous decisions, just as anyone else would, they are gonna get called out on it. Sure, they can edit, delete the post and such, but, we all know that doesnt happen quickly enough for people not to see it, or notice. Therefor, the attempt simply looks like a bad cover-up attempt by amateurs. =/ |

" Tencent doesn't funnel any money to the chinese ruling party, it's the other way around. They are effectively a state sponsored technology acquisition conglomerate, and the party has more than enough capital to spare for them simply for the sake of acquiring, not for the sake of making a monetary return on investment. It's for power and consolidation more than financial gain. There's no powercreep here. Creep implies it's slow and could be overlooked, this is a full out sprint.

" Meanwhile on Reddit, they do this stuff - https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/guzkjy/policy_discussion_final_open_letter_and_summary/ But please all the people on this forum keep parroting to each other about how terrible Reddit is... They don't need to bait many disenchanted forum users to join the mob btw. I expect most users of this forum are disenchanted with the moderation (but zip it and stay in line, much like the people of a certain place that shall not be named), with those who're actually happy with it being the minority. Edit: Btw, the very mods you're defending just suppressed a post about harassment (not of me, btw) in this game's community, so think about what you're supporting.
