Unable to exit from the garden when entered from a citadel zone.

I was working on the quest: "The Redeemer - Complete the map to access Veritania's Citadel" in the zone: "Grotto" when I entered the garden. There was no exit portal from my garden to reenter the Grotto area.

I used a portal scroll to try to exit and it put me back in my hideout. I then reentered the citadel portal and it placed me back in my garden area with no exit.
