"Alchemist's Genius" with "Soul Catcher" bug

The increased Flask effect from "Alchemist's Genius" does not aplly to the "Vaal Skills used during effect have reduced Soul Gain Prevention Duration" effect from "Soul Catcher".

Is the wording on "Alchemist's Genius" wrong and the interaction is intended, or is it bugged?

"Alchemist's Genius" is a new mod right? Haven't have a wiki article.

Buying jewel to test it and write an article based on in-game status icon.

ok, the buff 20% increase flask effect and charge gained.

Have you tried other "increase flask effect " mod to check that item mod (Vaal Skills used during effect have (40-20)% reduced Soul Gain Prevention Duration) is scale with flask effect at all?

Or try other flask to check the buff increase flask effect or not? Like Dying Sun +1 arrow flask effect breakpoint

Could it be that you only gain Alchemists Genius upon using Soul Catcher? So consequently the buff is triggered by the flask and cannot retroactively apply to it?
Hence, if you use a flask before Soul Catcher and activate Soul Catcher in less than 4 seconds after it, the buff should apply?
