What is fun to one, may not be to another. It's as simple as that. If you feel disgruntled about how the game has evolved, maybe it is time to play another game, come back after league (as an example)
you can always trade regrets for alchemy's through the vendor.

through leveling i've noticed a MASSIVE difference in currency collection from this league compared to recent others - but lets not get into the compare snare.

alchemy's are spammed to buy early zana maps. theres always a shortage of them starting out in a league. then shortly later theres always an abundance of them.

so the real answer is to just suffer through it until you get in higher maps and getting better loot/drops where they'll drop more often
Delve is also an option. The currency drops seem untouched there.
The problem is GGG adjusting drop rates for leagues like delirium. But then leaving it like shit for things like harvest, wich has the worst drops imaginable.

I kinda expected this to happen. Delirium was a currency thunderstorm, and we got used to it. Now that is back to normal (speculating of course), it seems "nerfed"

Yeah, noone said that anywhere. They mentioned that Delirium was far too heavy on the drops, but the alch sustain issue was a thing before that league as well. People just have the memory of goldfish.
