First dx11 (shadows) - now Forced Post Process & Bloom

Poe is a slots machine. Flashy lights and fancy sounds to keep you hooked. Every now and then you get a payout. You can't turn off the sound because 90% of the game relies on sound ques, now you can't turn off the lights.

The combat is a coin toss, you ether kill or die in seconds.

Everything is done to keep the addicted playing. It's not about keeping everyone happy

bloom_intensity=0
bloom_sampler=false
< under [display] in config file

This should make the bloom a bit less. You need to add bloom_intensity and bloom_sampler yourself under bloom_strength.

This does not remove all bloom, it will only make it less bloom. Some engine guy decided it was best for everyone to get bloom, if you are reading this engine dev, i'm giving you my long finger. Stop deciding for everyone

Still, I would like to hear the GGG - what prevents return post processing? Who wants to - turn it on, who does not need excessive beauty - can turn it off.

yeah, thats true.
im completely against forcing graphic settings.
it only kills the game long term and many ppl actualy started using hacks to disable forced options since the dx remove.
gg, you only make ppl quit the game or start using 3th party....

Long time supporter since CB, and after spending a buncha more cash on hideouts n shit, they pull this.

I quit uninstalled. Check back every now n then for a change, but it appears GGG is just a sell out niche shit develpment team now, i ferl they basically cheated me on mtx.

I'm done also. Even if they fix it, I may not return. And even once I do, I sure as hell won't be giving them any more money for a very long time.

Finally a thread that has more than a few posts. I can't handle this bloom anymore either. I have to limit my play time to 15-20 minute intervals and walk away. Some days I don't even log in because I know I'll get a splitting headache.

Thanks for completely ruining this league GGG (because of a FORCED graphic setting on OUR end)!!! I decided to give farmville a shot but forget it now. I can't even go back and play my cold spell build in standard either. Not to mention EVERY waypoint and entrance/exit has a bloom effect on it.

Nice to know that GGG cares about how this affects someone's health. Games come with epilepsy warnings, I guess GGG needs to add EYESTRAIN and HEADACHES to it as well!!!
