General Warcry and Desecrate

Curious about this interaction --- can you create a bunch of corpses for your warcry to create more minions?

Dont see why not, every other corpse mechanic works with them.

Total number I believe is limited by warcry power (based on nearby enemies and corpses)

It has a meh cooldown though, dont think you can easily build around it, its some extra damage but not super practical from the demo (unless someone finds an exploit).
Here is the thought --- Cyclone into a group so that CWC things like Fortify can activate. Add in a desecrate and maybe a couple other fun supports/skills.

Now that you have a bunch of corpses from Desecrate all over the place, cast Generals Warcry and have it linked to a new Earthshatter skill. That should create tons of spikes to blow up. As all those spikes and explosions apparantly can overlap and stack, might be one easy way to fill screens of destruction.

Self-generate a crap-load of corpses and then create a whole bunch of Minions who all create earthshatters all over the place. Kind of like spellslinger Desecrate/volatile dead thing.

You can get 12/15/30% warcry cooldown reduction node with jewel cluster.
Since it a medium cluster jewel, you can get up to 45% cd reduction on your warcry per medium cluster.
(And other bonus*)

From the preview, the cd didn't seem to be that big but not something you can spam 4 times/sec
You should be able to rise the Boiz from Desecrate or Unearth corpses.
As trixxar mentioned above, all other corpse mechanics work regardless of the corpse's nature.

1) Flicker Strike or Consecrated Path for Blitz Boiz.

2) Doriyani's Touch for Electoslam Boiz (Rallying Cry won't work as it needs the main hand weapon)

3) Aukuna's Will gloves make your Raised Zombies count as corpses.
From what we saw, General's Cry does not consume corpses. So I guess one can have big 2-hander, 6-linked Zombies and 6-linked Earthshatter General's Cry.
Then rotate Rallying Cry (to provide Zombies with a bonus from 2-hander) and General's Cry (the Boiz).
Zombies go for enemies, thus delivering the Boiz, so there's no need for teleport attack here. Also,
Zombies have a slam of their own, but I'm unsure if it can detonate the spikes from Earthshatter. If yes - that looks very promising.

Sounds like a plan to me!

Zombie as corpse seem interesting but they are probably worth 1 power.

General cry spawn warrior depending of the enemies total powers.

Now... There probably a limit to it but does it mean that...

"
Redblade Banner: No longer grants 2% of Attack Damage leeched as Life against taunted enemies. Now causes Warcries to have Infinite Power

Always summon the maximum amount of warrior image on cast ?
Does it need a corpse to create a copy whiteout consuming ?

Probably an interaction to test out but I feel like that general cry still missing some information on how it work.
Ok, we have gems.

General's Cry has a base cooldown of 4 seconds
It needs 10 power for 4 Boiz or 15 for max. 5 Boiz.
10 Zombies + Deep Breaths = 12.
3 power is not a problem at all in any clear or bossing situation.

Rallying Cry has a base cooldown of 8 seconds.
The base duration is 5.90 so it should be easy to reach 100% buff uptime.
It needs 35 power for max. 20% of base given to allies.
10 Zombies + Unique enemy + Deep Breaths = 36.
So the buff will be capped in boss fights.

Rallying Cry exerts exactly 5 attacks - 1 for each Boi from General Cry. So every other General's Cry will be dealing 25% more Damage.

All in all, looks very nice even if Zombies cannot bust Earthshatter's Spikes.

Really love how much support melee summoners got in general this patch. It might even be a valid playstyle now! Farming Aukunas Will is going to be a major PITA for me though.
Continuing my theory-crafting:

Cyclone around screen
- gives fortify and CWC Desecrate and Spirit Offering and maybe put Vulnerability in here (or do an aura).
- Then pop a 6-link General Cry with (pick big slow two handed skill)
- thinking Earthshatter to try something new, tie in Pulverise for AOE, ruthless for damage, and the usual melee enhancers

As a Slayer you could add in bleed and bleed-xplosions for more fun with Vulnerability. Add in some life leech, and endurance charges for survivability and it looks interesting.

It just comes down to whether those General Cry minions scale well. Cause in theory, you can get 5 of them casting large AOE hits with a reserved AOE spike shot still to come. With the overlaps and self-generating corpses it should be easy to apply multiple bleed stacks as well. Overkill? I see it clearing really easy, but how will the overlaps and damage work on the big solo bosses?

I just finished doing a Spellslinging Volatile Dead build and it was a slow starter but then became wickedly powerful. I liked all the self-casting stuff going on. Little hard on the eyes tho....so many orange orbs flying around. But it is also weird doing a build where you never have to target anything....just cast all over the place and the orbs do the rest. I see this theory being similar...except you start it by whirling into a few baddies to trigger all the buffs.
Sounds good!

what about brand-cascade-desecrate-recall
instead of cyclone
probably, the corpses from kills from monsters already do it for the killspeed
5corpses per 1.38seconds is alot
