Self Stun not working

Hi,

I put on the unique gluttony belt (156 damage when using a movement skill, you have no armor or energy shield) and valyrium ring ( stun threashold set to ES). This set my max ES to 0 and stun threashold to ES of 0. Why could I not stun myself using shield charge. Is there a mechanical issue with this gear combo or is it working as designed and I'm missing something?

PS: My ES before putting the belt on was 80. After having the belt on I still showed 7% physical damage reduction without endurence charges.

I just went through every movement skill and could not stun myself. I also swapped out the belt for a skold's bridle. Doing 300 damage to myself using a skill I could not self stun at 179 ES. I'm thinking this is intentionally done by the devs on the back end at this point. May I get confirmation?

Characters visible now, the character with gear is Son_Of_A_Beotch. It just won't trigger cast when stunned unless a monster hits me.

The belt wording is the issue, from what I can see.
It says "Maximum ES", however, you have ES on some of your items.
Int, of course, gives you ES as well.

You're not paying attention to what I have posted. Without belt my ES is 80. 156 damage should stun me. Also monster hits stun me regardless of damage they do. Little blocker monsters can stun me triggering cast on stun. It's bugged when I do damage to myself to not use ES.

Could it be that mitigation is reducing the self-damage?

7% physical damage mitgation is next to nothing. Also when I tried Skold's Bridle I did over 300 to myself using a skill and couldn't self stun.

Stun imunity pantheon?

Again, please read above. Monster hits are triggering cast on stun effects. If I had stun immunity that couldn't happen.
