Cheapst class and build for start

Hello,

Im still pretty new in this game and i dont know everything :)

As title says im looking for cheapest build and class for start. On new League i want to start with some class and farm for other more expensive class like Templar with heralds.

Ofc i want to clear fast maps and dont want to die too often :D

I will be glad if you show me some build that fit with my expectations :)

Witch > necromancer is pretty cheap & reliable league start.

Trap or mine build as Shadow > saboteur is solid pick.
Or shadow > trickster and going for some chaos dmg over time spell or attack.

Templar > Hierophant for spell totem builds is good too.

Those are all relatively easy to get going with little gear and you can scale them to end game.

But it always depends on the new league what is good start and what's not.
So maybe it could be safe to wait until patch notes arrive next week and people start making "league starter" builds.

This is a useful site. He updates it every league, but a lot of the most solid starters stay on the list because they are, well, solid starters.

If you don't mind farming a Oni-goroshi then oni + warbringer + enduring cry + insta warcry is a crazy strong starter. Took me to A8 Sirus before i really started spending lots of ex this league. About 150c + the oni, and mostly cause i couldn't be bothered to craft/identify rares for resistances my self - it's a very SSF friendly build once you have the sword.

Onii is a poor start choice. Sure it's powerful, but it is very time consuming and probably the most boring grind in the game. I'd stick to any of the witch necro builds or any strength-based Cyclone build. They are both straight forward, cheap early on, and can progress into late game.

Otherwise I'm always a fan of directing people to Enki's Arc Witch build. While the guide is very new player friendly, the meta has not been kind to Arc self (hand) casting. I still hate the phrase hand casting...
