Path of Exile does not support the ARM architecture.

Thank you for the reply. is there any future compatibility or ways of making it work?
I'm not aware of any plans to adopt ARM support (though, to be clear - I am not an employee).

I don't think you'll be able to get it to work, unfortunately. Even if the architecture was supported by Path of Exile, the hardware wouldn't meet the game's system requirements; the integrated graphics are woeful. The CPU and RAM would be fine if ARM was supported, but the CPU isn't going to be sufficiently powerful to play Path of Exile through the use of emulation.

The Surface Pro X has a lot going for it - but if what you're looking to do is play demanding PC or console games, a slim tablet isn't a suitable tool for the job.

I doubt GGG will develop client for such desktop "exotic" architecture. Know that any application which runs or AMD/Intel CPUs (x86 family) have to be often rewritten to work on ARM. As the ARM is almost not used at all on desktops or laptops, it is not worth the effort to port games for ARM. This might change in future as Apple is supposed to migrate to ARM and maybe in few years the PC market will follow (unlikely but possible, ARM offers much better performance/watt than x86 family).

However, there might be workaround for all of that by using game streaming services. Services like geforce now would technically allow you to run it. The geforce now already has ARM client (albeit for android for now) so you might to go research this way (maybe there is an Android emulator for ARM windows which you can use to run Geforce Now? I guess due to various overheads it may not be usable, but who knows. And PoE is already supported by geforce now service)
