PSA: Uncorrupted Non-Unique Ornate Quivers are available for cheap this league!

Currently there's only a single uncorrupted non-unique (so not Maloney's Mechanism) quiver on Standard, but well over a hundred on Delirium. That's thanks, as usual, to a guild controlling the market and extracting a ton of profit from making them (just imagine how much of this bs is gonna happen next league, which is entirely dedicated to crafting...). However, thanks to one self-less soul, that hegemony has now been broken. Which means you can now buy a non-corrupted Ornate Quiver for cheap - cheaper than even a single Maloney's Mechanism in fact (so no need to go through the massive expense of making them yourself). For anyone who wants them, now you can finally have it.

You can have them for as low as 2ex, and once you've got one, you can make more for as little as 90 chaos (cost of Fenumal Plagued Arachnid, for beast craft). Most of these sellers will likely not be selling anymore on Standard once the new league launches, so grab them while this league is still on. And feel free to try selling as many as you want yourself as well - the more people have them, the better (you can't re-establish a monopoly - it's too late now, so don't even bother). Please spread the word so people don't fall for bs like this again!

I don't get the backlash here against people finding a niche and using it. They didn't use an exploit, they used the free market.

That said, so did you to crash said market, which you wouldn't have been able to do with some sort of GGG enforcement.

I have done way more heroic things than that. I have an apathic feel towards such situations, ever since I partially burned standard to the ground when it came to eternal orb price fixing (and a lot of other things I won't mention).

The free market is great when there's competition. Not much of a market when there's a monopoly. This post is a celebration of the free market - it celebrates the fact that a monopoly was broken and so the market can operate and work its magic as markets do best. Maloney's Mechanism has 3 sockets, and triggers socketed bow skills on attack, I can see some use to that. But what's the use of a single socket on a rare quiver? Clearly corrupting it, hoping to replace the implicit with +1 arrows is not a thing.

It wasn't a defection within a cartel though. It was, according to their reddit post, the knowledge that you could create a white base from an influenced base with fractured fossils that ended their ability to control the market.

I actually made one of these quivers the hard way by vaaling 24 of the unique ones. It cost me about 50ex to get my base. I did undercut them on hunter influenced bases for a bit, before the market crashed, while I was finishing the craft I was going for.

Most expensive crafting bases aren't sold while they are still profitable.

fossil fracture is still expensive ....

The fossil sell for 200c and 5 fossil is 1000c.

Printing this base has a price. No noob sold it for 1 alc.

The reasonable price is the price of the "split item beast" plus the profit margin, since vaaling a lot of unique for this item is expensive.

The item is in a super niche, yes it is scummy to sell it for 10ex (unless the first 10 copies to cover the cost of buying the unique quiver), and yes they should sell it for may be 4ex after selling this base for 100th or even 200th copy.

I made one of these bases this league. I made it for an ED/Contagion character. None of the other quiver implicits help my character at all. The extra socket can be nice, Vaal RF for instance can be a nice damage boost. It's not the first thing I would choose to upgrade on my character, but it is an upgrade.

I actually did hit "bow attacks fire an additional arrow" on with one of my vaals. As far as I can tell there are 3 that exist. Most people don't vaal it.
