how to get 6 white sockets?
Temple corrupt has 4 outcomes, all with equal chance:
1 - item goes poof 2 - item is rerolled into random influenced rare (basically goes poof) 3 - all sockets turn white 4 - 2 vaal implicits |

never got a fully white item in a year.
i might brick a few items now... it arent always 2 vaal mods right? i would swear i most of the time got only 1 mod. and i could bet it had overwritten the existing implicit does a new implicit overwrite an enhancement? Im bad at math. Last edited by LoTharios#3338 on May 28, 2020, 1:28:33 PM

IF it's temple corrupt, it is ALWAYS 2 implicits.
a regular vaal orb can only give 1 implicit. |

if use a item that has 3 white sockets on a craft bench to get 2 red sockets i will lose the white sockets?

Temple is a 25% chance for all sockets to be white unless they changed it.

" The white sockets are not "fixed". They can be overwritten by the crafting bench. |

Harvest also has a very rare "turn a non-white into a white". In other words, 3 of those + Vorici 3W and here you have your 6W non-corrupted item.
As for "why in the world do you NEED a 6W", some very rich player need that in order to create mirror-service items White sockets are never to be considered a "fixed" outcome. If colors are rerolled, either by using Chromatics, using benchcraft or using horticraft (any recipe beside the "non-white as white") will surely make you lose your precious white sockets. The only exception is the horticraft "non-X as X", which will instead have a chance to not overwrite the White socket, depending on how many non-white and non-X sockets you have (For example, having a WWWBBB and applying a "non-Blue as Blue" will surely overwrite one of the Whites. Applying a "non-red as red" has a 50% chance it will get one of the whites, and a 50% it will get on of the blues) |
