Can we have Fractured Items back in 3.11 please?

Note that this doesn't have to include the Synthesizer. For those who were fond of Synthesizing items (or Synthesis league in general), feel free to advocate for it. However, even if that never eventuates, I'd still like to see at least Fractured Items make a return. And you don't necessarily need the rest of Synthesis league for them - just have them be normal (albeit rare) drops. Edit: To address concerns about them being a chore to find among trash rares, have them drop IDed, like Veiled items.

Some might wonder what the point of having Fractured Items back is, if not for Synthesizing? And imo that's the great tragedy of Synthesis league - that among the community Fractured Items got so caught up with the Synthesizer (and all its myriad issues) that no one bothered appreciating them on their own. But here's the thing - Fractured items with decent locked mods make for awesome crafting bases. And what's more, they make for great bases for precisely the people you want to encourage to try their hands at crafting - new (or otherwise nervous) players. And to make it even better, since they're just rolling from the regular mod pool, they're inherently not OP. The value of Fractured Items for crafting is that they help to ease one into the process by reducing the RNG involved, likely even more than Fossils do. They were a great addition to the game for all those skittish about investing the precious little currency they had into actually making their own gear.

And so since current world circumstances have gifted the gaming industry, including PoE, with a wealth of new players, 3.11 would be the perfect time to bring Fractured Items back in order to help ease at least some of them into one of PoE deepest systems.

How does making it more accessible to craft semi-decent items compound power creep?
Fractured items would maybe be ok. i just worry about how they interact with awakeners orbs and influenced exalts. could get silly.

if the 'synthesizer' ever comes back, however, i will leave for good. that shit was bananas.
Fractured items were the most overlooked part of Synthesis and it's not like it would add power creep since it's not adding any new modifiers or making them better and what fractured mods you get are still very RNG dependent as well as hoping for a good base and Synthesis maps are uncommon.

You have just answered your own question ;) Imagine boots with locked tailwind mod
Biggest compliments for my crafted items - "bs, they must have been RMT'ed"

I'm disabled, I have rare case of semperduravera, so I can write things that may look rude, but it is because of disability - I'm forced to tell truth using words you may not like.

How often have you seen boots drop with that mod? I know I've never seen it. Every tailwind boot I've come across has been made after a lot of expense incurred to craft it. The possibility of a half-dozen locked tailwind boots across the whole server doesn't bug me much, tbh.

Though if it's that much of a concern, they can simply ensure Fractured Items can never drop already influenced. I'd have no problem with that, especially if they also allowed them to drop while leveling instead of just at endgame. The aim here isn't to encourage them to be ideal for the most OP gear, but rather as a gentler inroad into crafting for those who can't stand the enormous RNG of it.

So you want it to be easier to craft good gear? That is just pure power creep.
GGG is introducing a lot of power creep, but asking for more is raising voices of concern from the players. Game is already too easy.

Maybe power creep is not a problem for you, but look how many people got angry at heralds buils this league - even if you havn't seen a tailwind boots, nor herald stacking build, it doesn't mean that making them more common will not be a problem.

i wont mind synths league content to come back,
but i do think that due to all the content being added to core games there should be some sort of option for a player to heavily focus on certain league content more then other. I remember when i made a comeback to PoE at around betrayal league i already felt like there is a lot to understand, i cant even imagine what is it for current new players to understand and contain all the information and content in the game, it's really hard and heavy.. I dont know how but PoE needs to find a way for new players and some regular old school players to feel more in control and focused because its really easy to get lost.
like if a player could choose to make character who would easily have more encounter for certain content then others, and could focus on certain league mechanics..

sometimes when i feel like doing new character i just have this feeling like when you are a bit hungry and someone shows you that picture of mountain of foods of all kinds, and just by looking at it you lose your hunger.

sorry for my english, anyway just throwing ideas
