Firestorm + Increased Duration
Just wanted to get some confirmation on the following from someone who has actually tested it.
The Wiki states that more fireballs will fall within the same duration of the skill. Every other source states that the duration of the skill itself will just increase, resulting in more fireballs (since one drops every .15 seconds). Ultimately, does increased duration cause fireballs to fall faster (one <.15 seconds) like the wiki says, or just cause more via a longer skill duration like everywhere else states? Also, tried searching for this on the forums and found nothing. Sorry if it's a repeat question. |

" Which wiki? There is more than one. If you mean this one, http://en.pathofexilewiki.com/wiki/Firestorm, then I do not see it say that at all. IGN: NuzzyFipples

Increased Duration has no affect on the rate of fireballs falling, only Quality increases the rate. The wiki is right, you just misread it.

You seem to have misread the wiki. A longer duration does increase the amount of fire balls but it doesn't change the rate at which they drop.

" firestorm is a useless skill. Dont use it. The rest of the 'end-game' content will be available along with a heap of new stuff when the game launches in a few months time. From what I've seen it's going to be awesome. - Michael_GGG
