Does AG need to meet stat requirements to actually use Garb of the Ephemeral?

Wondering if the stat requirements need to be met on AG itself to equip it and for the player to benefit from the auras.

Nvm, threw 1ex out the window for a quick test and it does work. No stats are needed on the AG.

This means the above post is incorrect.

I don't think he has attributes at all or even benefits from them. Pob might show that

- AG will equip the item despite lacking stats and will provide the auras to nearby allies/enemies accordingly

Yes that is right.
It would be silly if the guardian couldn't use some equipment because of attributes when there is no way to know his attributes. They are nowhere to be found.

Yes that is right.

Technically AG has 0/0/0 in base stats, but they can be increased through items. That's how Mask of the Tribunal gets its stats and provides bonuses to nearby allies.

I only ever ran AGs in "pet" builds, either typical minion build, or ballista build. This allows mobs to have more targets than just you and the AG.

Generally, it needs to be supported by minion life and meat shield if you want it to live. With minion builds, you also get the benefit of grabbing some minion life nodes on the way.
