Socket Coloring

Hello,

I am currently in need of 3 Red, 2 Blues, 1 Green on my Bronn's Lithe which has been very difficult. I'm not too sure how to go about to getting my goal. I thought I would try looking for the crafting recipe "Color 3 Sockets" but to no avail, I have no clue how to find it. Something about Ruined Chamber in the mines that are nowhere on my map. I tried going left/right but I simply can't sustain the sulfur drain.

I've played PoE for quite some time now but just as a simple time passer. Never got too serious into it as I have now. My first time being past Lv84 and working past T3/4 Maps. I just played it because it's a really fun game but now I've gotten myself a really good build with some great damage output but my survivability is tanking because I can't get the correct colors to use the armor instead of using Tabula.

5 off colors on bronns is going to be, frankly, absurdly hard. even with the '3 red socket' craft, you ALSO have to roll 2 blues.

instead of trying to force that, consider a different armor. Loreweave would be much easier to color, and has some pretty great bonuses. Or an influenced astral plate. Or even a Belly of the Beast/ Carcass Jack

steelskin and immortal call share a cooldown. you have BOTH linked to your cast when damage taken gem. one of them will never trigger while the other is on cooldown. pick one.

Thanks for the quick reply. Although I really wish to use Bronn's Lithe I can see that might not be possible. I almost had the colors too! I had 3 reds, but only 1 blue.

I might look into an Astral Plate since most of the uniques are expensive for higher stats. (I'm a bit of a picky eater.) Although I might just go with a Belly Of The Beast since it's a bit cheaper at higher stats than all the other ones.

If I were to go for an Astral Plate could you recommend me some stats that would suit cyclone or should I just focus on survivability like resistances, health, and armor?
You might want to bookmark https://siveran.github.io/calc.html -- it's an invaluable tool for saving chromatics/vaals when recoloring.

It will take an average of 3,185 chromatics using the best method (1r1g).

Another option would be to try for white sockets via the crafting bench in the safehouse, though I believe that would break your 6l.

Or trying to buy one pre-colored, though there may not be any available.

If I were to try to white socketing it wouldn't permanently break it? I'm ok with losing the six links. I prepped tons of fusing for it to 6 links within the first one hundred so I still have plenty to go for. I'm pretty sure I can afford another 6 links through crafting and if not rng.

I've never used the Immortal Syndicate because it completely confuses me. I tried watching videos but my brain just short circuits. Well, I get all this advanced information on where's the best place to put someone and how to keep farming the system etc etc but none of the guides have taught me how to move them around into the correct places.

Only think it would affect is socket colors, changing up to 3 sockets whit rest staying the color they where before. so if you had 3 reds and 3 others, with luck you could end up with 3 reds and 3 whites.

No it wouldn't. The vorici bench doesn't mess with links at all.
ah ok, i thought that I saw a youtube video that showed it breaking the links. good to know.

there are THREE ways to get white sockets, TWO of them WILL corrupt your item.

Easiest : Use a vaal Orb. one of the possible outcomes is ONE white socket, and corrupting your item

The other 2 require a lot of setup:

Syndicate, if you can get Vorici into the "research" branch, can give you a crafting bench. Using this bench can change sockets to white WITHOUT changing anything else, AND without corrupting your item. higher rank vorici bench can give up to 3 white sockets. him being the leader of research gives 2 benches.

Temple, Tier 3 Corruption Chamber. This is a souped up vaal corruption, and it will do 1 of the 4 following things (item will always be corrupted)

DELETE YOUR ITEM
Turn your item into an influenced rare, rerolling everything; stats, sockets, links, colors.
Turn ALL sockets white
Add 2 vaal implicits

Syndicate is super safe, because it wont ever ruin your item. At worst, you only get 1 white socket, and you can still use chromes to recolor (you do lose the white sockets if you chrome).

Thanks to everyone for all the help and information you have provided.

Luckily I will be able to use Bronn's Lithe after all. I managed to roll 4 Reds, 1 Blue, 1 Green then I went and tried my luck with white socketing. I successfully managed to obtain 2 Red Sockets, 2 White Sockets, 1, Blue, and 1 Green.

This was an amazing learning experience all in all. I now know more about the game mechanics and how to use them to my advantage more so than I use too. I'd have to say my next step is learning out to craft good items but that's will take place in another story(lol), and so my quest for the correct colored sockets is over. Thanks again, everyone.
