Curse on hit gloves corruption

Hello, I wanted to ask if this mod can be supported by socketed gems in my gloves. I heard empower won't work, so I'm thinking anything else won't work either. Should I just put whatever else skills in the gloves?

Yes, curses from "on hit" modifiers can't be supported by gems at all. PLEASE QUOTE ME IF YOU ARE EXPECTING A REPLY
