Dual summoners--possible?

So my friend and I want to play summoners. We will level together on most part. But then I heard of the lagging issue; it seems that having 50+ minions on the screen is a bad idea.

My question is, how noticeable will the lag be? We both play on laptops and want to go pure summoner. The idea is too fun to pass up (we even planned to invite more friends to make a 4 summoner group *sigh*)

It should be fine, just stay away from heavy spell effect spectres such as LMP/GMP Flame sentinels.

You may want to play on low settings as well.
It's very possible, just not ideal.

I multibox 3 summoners, and the lag gets so bad, that anyone in my party usually gets client crashes after about 10 minutes. It doesn't help that I am using 9 auras either.

I've had 2 summoner's running without many problems. It's possible, but like he said, stay away from the flashier stuff.
