Curses on Hit x3

Hello everyone,

I have gloves with 2 implicit curses on hit and I took the passive point 'Whispers of Doom' (can apply an additional curse)

Gloves curses > Elemental Weakness and Enfeeble

My question is : if I take a third curse with a ring with 'assassin mark on it', which 2 of the 3 curses will be applied on the enemies ?

Your answer will be very helpful !!

Thanks

Curses applied via Blasphemy count towards the active curse limit. Curse auras also take priority over curses applied via casting, and will override those curses if they exceed the curse limit.
* If multiple curses are triggered at the same time from one player, they are applied according to the trigger order.
* Curse on Hit from corruption implicits are always applied after Curse On Hit Support gems.
* With multiple Curse on Hit corruption implicits the trigger order might be relevant again.

In other words, if I corrupt an Asenath's Gentle Touch (natural lv10 Temporal Chain on hit) and I get a lv10 Despair on hit, the Despair will always be applied before the TC.

Now, the real question is: what about a Locus that lands a double curse on hit on an item? Lordados on reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/pathofexile/comments/etso8m/gloves_with_double_curse_on_hit/ ) said:

I did some extensive testing with like 6 different gloves and I've come to the final conclusion of what curse it applies.

It doesn't matter what order they're in, it doesn't matter what level they are. Strangely, the curse that gets applied is the one that comes first in the alphabet.

With Despair + Ele Weakness gloves, Despair ALWAYS applied over Ele Weakness no matter what. Ele weakness could come first, last, have higher level, lower level, same level, doesn't matter. Because Despair comes first in the alphabet.

But if you get Enfeeble and Ele Weakness gloves, Ele Weakness ALWAYS applies, because it comes first in the alphabet.

So, following these rules, we have:

> EleWeakness from corruption in gloves
> Enfeeble from corruption in gloves
> assMark from something in ring

Thus:

- if that "something" is a non-corruption modifier, then assassin's mark will never trigger because EleWeakness and Enfeeble takes precedence
- if that "something" is a corruption modifier, then "Assassin's Mark" comes before "Elemental Weakness", which comes before "Enfeeble" in the dictionary. Thus, Enfeeble will never trigger
skill id of Elemental Weakness is "ElementalWeakness"
Enfeeble is Enfeeble
Assassin's Mark is AssassinsMark

if it is by alphabet, it should be by internal skill id. (in this case the same as shown name)

Thank you for your replies !

So if I understand well, if I get the assassin mark on a explicit mod, he will never trigger because the corrupted curses take allways precedence ?
Unless you raise your maxCurse to 3, yes. As long it is not given by corruption, or socket it into a Doedre's Skin (which specifically states that curses inside itself bypass curse limit) it will never trigger
